Manuel Bouffard, OTR/L, CHT

Manuel Bouffard received his B.Sc. degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Montréal in Canada in 1993. He is a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT), currently licensed to practice Occupational Therapy in California. His career has been dedicated to working with patients presenting both orthopedic and neurological upper extremity conditions: from digital re-plantation to flaccid hemiplegia. He is a member of the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA), The American Society of Hand Therapists (ASHT), and a former board member of the Hand Society of Greater Los Angeles (HTSGLA). He is President/Owner of Medcessity, Inc.

Jonathan Chinn, PT, DPT

Jonathan Chinn received his Doctor of Physical Therapy from Evidence in Motion in 2012 and his Master of Physical Therapy from Western University of Health Sciences in 1998. He has been in practice for most of his career in outpatient settings. His professional experience includes Orthopedics, Sports, and Manual/Manipulative Medicine as well as Specialized Osteopathic Techniques. Jonathan's evidence-based approach to Physiotherapy makes him the authority in the latest treatment techniques for Spine Conditions, Orthopedic/Sports-Related Injuries, and Temporo-Mandibular Joint (TMJ) dysfunctions. He has lectured for California State University of Long Beach's Physical Therapy Program. He is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA). He is Vice-President/Owner of Medcessity: Physical, Occupational, & Hand Therapy.

Krishma Dholakia, PT, M(Sc)

Krishma Dholakia received her Bachelor's in Physical Therapy from India in 2008 and her Master's in Kinesiology from California State University, Long Beach in 2013. She is currently licensed to work in the state of California as a physical therapist, where she has practiced since 2011. Over the span of her career Krishma has worked in several clinical settings: hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, and outpatient therapy centers. Her experience with a variety of different orthopedic and neurological cases, has given her expertise to treat a wide range of diagnosis skillfully and compassionately. Eager to learn, she constantly continues to further her education and enhance her skills by attending multiple educational courses, lately: Kinesiotape application, Mulligan Techniques, Applied Functional Science.

Thao Nguyen, PT, DPT

Thao Nguyen received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at the University of Southern California in 2014, and completed her B. Sc. in Biological Sciences at the University of California Irvine in 2009. She has been trained as a general physical therapist, and has experience working with a patient population that encompassed the entire lifespan, and with a wide variety of diagnoses including orthopedics, neurological, and added specialty training in pelvic floor dysfunctions. Her specialty is empathy and compassionate hands-on care, where a person's needs and goals always come first. She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association, California Physical Therapy Association, and supporter of the CAL-PAC and CA PT Fund. In her free time, Thao enjoys long luxurious dinners, dips in the Jacuzzi tub, and loves spontaneous day trips.

Joshua Silva, PT, DPT

Joshua Silva is a Southern California native who received his Doctor of Physical Therapy from Western University of Health Sciences in 2016. He holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of California, Riverside. He found his true calling to the PT profession as a volunteer after experiencing the reward in helping others succeed. Dr. Silva strives to ensure his patients achieve their movement goals and has a strong passion to implement manual therapy techniques in conjunction with functional therapeutic exercises. In his free time he enjoys traveling, running, competitive basketball, and dabbling in rock climbing.

Daniel Herrera-Salais, MOT, OTR/L

Daniel received his Masters of Occupational Therapy (MOT) from the University of Loma Linda in 2017. He completed a B.Sc. in Kinesiology from California State University, Bakersfield in 2012. He is currently working towards becoming a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT). He has experience treating patients from across the lifespan, and a wide range of diagnoses including neurological and orthopedics. He is passionate about helping others recover, improve, and maintain the skills needed to participate in their day-to-day meaningful activities. In his free time he enjoys running, playing soccer, traveling, and exploring new places.

Jeffrey Uy, PTA

Jeffrey Uy received his Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Associate Degree from Concorde Career College, in 2017 and his California PTA license in February 2018. He has clinical experiences in an orthopedic clinic, skilled nursing facility, as well as home health. He has developed valuable knowledge and skill to promote the overall well being of individuals with a variety of diagnoses. In doing so, he has assisted clients in promoting movement, improving function and participating in leisure activities within their daily lives. His hobbies include playing hockey, basketball, tennis, baseball and football.

Cheryl Foster, COTA

Cheryl Foster received her Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy from Northeast Louisiana University in Monroe, Louisiana in 1992. She moved to California shortly after graduation and began her career as a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA). Cheryl's long career has given her the opportunity to provide occupational therapy treatment to adults in acute care hospitals, rehabilitation hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, and outpatient therapy clinics. She has also worked with the pediatric population in both school and clinical settings. Her career has been dedicated to working with a wide range of patients, including both neurological and upper extremity orthopedic conditions. She has attended numerous clinical education courses, allowing her to continually advance her skills and provide the best possible care to her patients. She is a member of the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA), and is licensed with both the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) and the California Board of Occupational Therapy (CBOT).

Samantha Galang-Rorm, COTA/L

Samantha received her B.A. in Kinesiology from the California State University, Dominguez Hills in 2018 and graduated with an AA degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant in 2020. Though early in her rehab career, she holds clinical experience in orthopedic and hand therapy, skilled nursing facilities, mental health, pediatrics, home health and subacute care. She plans to continue her education and one day become an Occupational Therapist. She is passionate about helping others through every stage in life and believes in the importance of development, improvement, and restoration of functional daily living skills through meaningful activities.
